The Practice

A surgeon'shands. Ahumanist'sheart.

For Dr. Elena Voss, medicine has never been about the procedure alone. It is about the person on the table  their fears, their family, the life waiting on the other side of recovery.

Trained across three continents and pioneering minimally invasive valve reconstruction, she has spent eighteen years refining a philosophy that is as much about listening as it is about operating.

Today she leads a practice where cutting-edge regenerative therapy and unhurried, human conversation are given equal weight.

Every heart tells a story. My work begins by learning to read it.

Areas of Expertise

Where precisionmeets possibility.

Four disciplines, one philosophy — treat the disease with technology, and the person with time.

01

Minimally Invasive Valve Repair

Keyhole and robotic-assisted reconstruction that preserves the native valve and shortens recovery from weeks to days.

02

Regenerative Cardiac Therapy

Stem-cell scaffolds and biologics that restore function to tissue once considered beyond repair.

03

Preventive Cardiology

Genomic risk mapping and lifestyle medicine designed to intervene years before the first symptom.

04

Complex Reoperative Surgery

High-risk redo procedures and second opinions for cases other surgeons consider inoperable.

Patient Stories

The measure ofcare is how itfeels to receive.

She explained a terrifying diagnosis with such calm that I left her office feeling, for the first time in months, that I would be alright. Then she proved it.

Mitral valve repair · 2023
Three surgeons told me there was nothing to be done. Dr. Voss spent two hours with my scans and found a way. I walked my daughter down the aisle a year later.

What struck me was how little she rushed. In an industry of ten-minute appointments, she made me feel like the only patient she had.

The precision of the surgery was matched only by the warmth of the care around it. Her team called to check on me for weeks afterward.
